If your child has a health condition requiring medication at school or other medical treatment during the 23-24 school year, please contact your school nurse to obtain the necessary forms and doctor's orders. Thank you for your help in keeping students healthy and ready to learn!

Santa Fe Public Schools is now accepting applications for free or reduced-price meals. Although we will feed all students at no cost in the 2023-24 school year, we must collect an application for Free and Reduced Meals. The data collected from this process determines eligibility and funding for P-EBT, Title 1, E-Rate, and other programs. Only one application per family is needed. The application can be completed online at www.myschoolapps.com Questions? Contact Tina Anaya at 505-467-3600.

Free & Healthy Meals for ALL Students! Help your school today! Families, filling out free and reduced lunch applications is more important than ever to you and your schools! Why? Filling out this form ensures your child will receive maximum funding for benefits like Summer EBT (formerly Pandemic EBT). An accurate count of those who qualify ensures other initiatives continue, including after-school programs. Funding for lunch programs is tied to technology money, including access to quality internet.

We wanted to take a moment to emphasize the continued importance of submitting free and reduced lunch applications for your children. These applications play a vital role, especially now that SB4 (Healthy Universal School Meals) is tied to funding and programming. The Public Education Department relies on accurate counts of qualifying students to ensure that the necessary funds and services are available to schools across New Mexico. By submitting your free and reduced lunch applications, you contribute to this crucial process and help support our schools and students. The benefits of these applications go beyond just providing nutritious meals to our children. They enable the Public Education Department to allocate funds for various educational programs and initiatives that directly impact our students' learning experiences. These resources can make a significant difference in their education and overall well-being. Together, we can ensure that every student in Santa Fe has access to the resources they need to thrive.

This is what parent engagement looks like at Acequia Madre. Without parent support, we would not be able to have some of our unique programming that focus on educating the whole child. To support our school, go to getmovinfundhub.com and enter our school ID 5e627067e009c

Teacher Appreciation
We absolutely love it when our parents come in to promote the performing arts and gardening/outdoor curriculum at the school! We also are grateful to all the volunteers that help put smiles on our students' faces. It's very exciting to see how the students thrive with the additional support of our community. The photos attached are from the first grade, but these initiatives happen all across the school.

Multiple school districts throughout the state have received social media threats against schools. SFPS and SFPD are taking precautionary measures to ensure the safety at our schools. The City of Santa Fe and SFPD are working directly with the FBI on the threat, which appears to be a hoax. There is no immediate threat towards any SFPS school.
